Please read these terms carefully before using our makeup artistry services. By booking with us, you agree to these terms.

Service Agreement

By booking our makeup artistry services, you enter into a legally binding agreement with Dollup. These terms govern the relationship between you (the client) and our professional makeup services.

  • All services are provided by licensed and experienced makeup artists
  • We use only high-quality, professional-grade makeup products
  • Services are customized to your preferences and skin type
  • All equipment and tools are sanitized between clients

Booking & Cancellation Policy

Booking Requirements

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking
  • Bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance
  • All booking details must be confirmed in writing

Cancellation Terms

  • 48+ hours notice: Full refund of deposit
  • 24-48 hours notice: 50% of deposit refunded
  • Less than 24 hours: No refund of deposit
  • No-show: Full service charge applies

Payment Terms

Payment Methods

  • We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers
  • Online payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways
  • 50% deposit required at booking, balance due on service day
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
  • Travel charges apply for services outside our standard area
  • Late payment fees may apply for overdue balances

Payment Processing

  • All online payments are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment processors
  • Payment information is encrypted and processed securely. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers
  • By making a payment, you agree to the terms and conditions of our payment processing partners
  • Transaction fees may apply for certain payment methods, as disclosed at the time of payment
  • Failed payments may result in booking cancellation. You will be notified of any payment issues

Refunds and Chargebacks

  • Refunds are processed according to our cancellation policy and may take 5-10 business days to reflect in your account
  • Chargebacks or payment disputes must be resolved through the payment processor's dispute resolution process
  • Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension and legal action
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any payment transaction that we believe may violate these terms or applicable laws

Client Responsibilities

To ensure the best possible service experience, clients are responsible for:

  • Arriving with clean, moisturized skin
  • Disclosing any skin allergies or sensitivities
  • Providing accurate contact information
  • Being punctual for scheduled appointments
  • Communicating preferences and concerns clearly
  • Providing adequate lighting and workspace for on-location services

Liability & Insurance

While we take every precaution to ensure safe and professional service delivery:

  • We carry professional liability insurance
  • Clients with known allergies must inform us prior to service
  • Patch tests are recommended for sensitive skin
  • We are not liable for reactions to undisclosed allergies

Platform Services & Marketplace Disclaimer

Dollup operates as a platform connecting makeup artists with clients. The following terms apply to our marketplace services:

  • Dollup acts as an intermediary platform and does not directly provide makeup services
  • All services are provided by independent makeup artists who are responsible for their own work quality, licensing, and professional standards
  • Service listings, descriptions, and pricing are provided by artists and may be subject to change
  • Dollup does not guarantee the accuracy of service descriptions, availability, or artist qualifications
  • Clients are responsible for verifying artist credentials, availability, and service details before booking

Service Listings & Artist Responsibilities

Artists using the Dollup platform are responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date service listings, including pricing, duration, and availability
  • Providing services that meet the descriptions and standards advertised in their listings
  • Ensuring all products and tools used are safe, sanitized, and appropriate for client use
  • Complying with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations regarding professional services
  • Resolving service-related disputes directly with clients or through the platform's dispute resolution process

Ratings, Reviews, and User Feedback

The Dollup platform includes a rating and review system to help users make informed decisions:

  • Ratings and reviews are user-generated content and reflect individual experiences
  • Dollup does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of ratings and reviews
  • Users must have completed a booking to submit a rating or review
  • Dollup reserves the right to remove or moderate ratings and reviews that violate our content policies, contain false information, are abusive, or are determined to be fraudulent
  • Artists may respond to reviews, but may not offer incentives in exchange for positive reviews
  • Average ratings are calculated from verified bookings and displayed for informational purposes only

Limitation of Liability for User-Generated Content

Dollup provides a platform for user-generated content including ratings, reviews, service listings, and artist profiles:

  • Dollup is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of user-generated content
  • Users are solely responsible for the content they post, including reviews, ratings, and service descriptions
  • Dollup does not endorse any artist, service, or user-generated content displayed on the platform
  • Users acknowledge that ratings and reviews may not reflect their personal experience and should use their own judgment when making booking decisions
  • Dollup reserves the right to remove content that violates our terms, but is not obligated to monitor all user-generated content

Photography & Social Media

By booking our services, you understand and agree to the following regarding photography and social media:

  • We may photograph our work for portfolio purposes
  • Images may be used on our website and social media platforms
  • Clients may request not to be photographed or featured
  • We respect client privacy and anonymity when requested
