Booking Process

1. Search for Services: Browse available services or search by location, service type, or artist
2. Select Service: Choose the service you need (Bridal, Party, Editorial, etc.)
3. Check Availability: The system will find available artists near your location
4. Review Artists: View artist profiles, portfolios, ratings, and pricing
5. Request Booking: Submit a booking request with your preferred date, time, and location
6. Artist Response: Artists have 10 minutes to respond to your request
7. Confirm Booking: Once an artist confirms, complete payment to finalize the booking
8. Service Delivery: Artist arrives at your location on the scheduled date and time
9. Review & Rating: After service completion, leave a review and rating

Booking Status

• Pending: Waiting for artist confirmation
• Confirmed: Artist has confirmed your booking
• Completed: Service has been completed
• Cancelled: Booking was cancelled

Payment Options

• Online Payment: Pay a portion of the service amount upfront online. The remaining amount can be paid via Cash on Delivery (COD) at the time of service.
• Cash on Delivery (COD): Pay the remaining amount directly to the artist when they arrive for the service.

The availability system helps you find artists who are available at your preferred date, time, and location.

How It Works

1. Submit Request: Enter your service requirements, preferred date, time, and location
2. Real-time Matching: The system instantly finds available artists near you
3. Artist Response: Available artists respond within 10 minutes with their availability and pricing
4. Compare Options: Review multiple artist responses with ratings, experience, and pricing
5. Select Artist: Choose the artist that best fits your needs
6. Confirm Booking: Complete payment to secure your booking

Location-Based Matching

• Artists are matched based on proximity to your location
• Distance and estimated travel time are displayed
• You can see which artists service your area
• Multiple addresses are supported for both customers and artists

Response Time

Artists have 10 minutes to respond to your availability request. If no artists respond within this time, you can:

• Submit a new request with adjusted time or location
• Browse available artists manually
• Contact support for assistance

Multiple Artist Options

When you submit an availability request, you may receive responses from multiple artists. You can compare:

• Artist ratings and reviews
• Years of experience
• Service pricing
• Distance from your location
• Portfolio samples
• Response time

Artist portfolios showcase their previous work and help you make informed booking decisions:

• Artist-Uploaded Content: Portfolio images and descriptions are uploaded by artists themselves to showcase their work
• Variety of Work: Browse different categories (Bridal, Party, Editorial, etc.) to see examples of each artist's style
• Location Information: Portfolio items include location details to help you understand where artists have worked
• Reference Only: Portfolio images are for reference purposes and represent past work, not guarantees of future results

Important: While portfolios help you evaluate artist skills and styles, the platform does not verify the accuracy of portfolio content. Use portfolios as one factor in your decision-making process, along with ratings, reviews, and direct communication with artists.

How Ratings Work

• User-Generated: Ratings and reviews are submitted by customers who have completed bookings with artists
• Average Ratings: Artist profiles display average ratings (1-5 stars) calculated from verified booking reviews
• Review Display: Individual reviews are displayed publicly to help other customers make decisions
• Service-Specific: Some services may have their own ratings separate from the artist's overall rating

Leaving Reviews

• After completing a booking, you can rate your experience and leave a written review
• Reviews help other customers and help artists improve their services
• You can only review bookings you have completed

Review Moderation

The platform moderates reviews to ensure they comply with content policies. Reviews may be removed if they:

• Contain false or misleading information
• Include abusive, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Violate platform terms or privacy policies

Platform Role

• Dollup provides a marketplace platform but does not directly provide makeup services
• All services are provided by independent artists who are responsible for their own work quality and professional standards
• Service listings, descriptions, and pricing are provided by artists and may be subject to change

No Guarantees

The platform does not guarantee:

• Specific service outcomes or results
• The accuracy of service descriptions, portfolio images, or artist qualifications
• That ratings or reviews accurately reflect your personal experience
• Artist availability or service delivery times

Your Responsibility

• Review artist profiles, portfolios, and ratings before booking
• Communicate your requirements and preferences clearly with artists
• Verify service details, pricing, and availability directly with artists when needed
• Use your own judgment when making booking decisions

When you submit ratings and reviews, Dollup uses this data to:

• Display Publicly: Show ratings and reviews on artist profiles and service listings to help other customers make decisions
• Calculate Averages: Compute average ratings for artists and services based on all verified reviews
• Improve Platform: Use aggregated data for platform analytics and quality improvement
• Moderation: Review content for policy compliance and remove violations

Data Retention: Ratings and reviews are retained as long as the associated artist profile or service listing remains active, or as required by law.

How to Report

Moderation Process

After receiving a report:

• The platform reviews reported content for policy violations
• Content that violates policies may be removed or hidden
• You may receive a response regarding the outcome of your report
• The platform reserves the right to moderate content without prior notice
